One drum is a very simple dance that most kids learn and perform with the older students. It is a dance that can be performed by any age group (but preferably over 6.) The dance consists of beats that are unique to Korean culture. The costumes are black and white with colorful sashes and a headband to go with them. This is the typical traditional drum attire that you can see Samulnori 사물놀이 teams wearing. The costumes are very comfortable and easy to move around in. The performance consists of small drums and big drums, with the bigger drums having a deeper sound. The dance is also split into parts, with the more advanced performers doing one part and the rest following after.
